Duplicating this “inside out” chicken cordon bleu recipe was very easy with its simple approach to such a classic dish.  To re-create this recipe, we seasoned and baked chicken with ham and cheese layered on top.  While the chicken was baking, we cooked up a buttery lemon cream sauce.

Presentation was easy with a couple scoops of the lemon cream sauce on the plate and place a chicken breast on top.  Cafe Alfresco served with a side of mashed potatoes and broccolini.  We served it with mashed potatoes and green beans.
